Paint & Stain Policy

Unfinished, our white cedar furniture weathers to a beautiful, silvery, gray, and is the best choice the the least amount of maintenance. But, we must admit, our furniture looks incredible, finished in different colors Unfortunately, we do not offer a pre-finishing service at this time, but will soon be offering finishing kits There are many fine brands of both semi-transparent and solid stains on the market today. Your choice would be a matter of personal preference. However, we can give you some advice as to our experience. Atlantic White Cedar needs to breathe, so do not paint cedar furniture. If you wish to give your furniture a solid appearance, choose an exterior solid stain. If you wish to still see the character of the wood, choose a semi-solid or transparent stain Our favorite is a semi-transparent driftwood gray, which closely resembles the natural weathered effect, and may never need to be repeated.. But whatever your choose, you are going to love our furniture.

The furniture made by Woodlife Workshop is specially designed so that it can be easily shipped and assembled. Please allow 5 to 10 working days for items to ship to you, depending on the time of year and our current workload. Standard shipping charges are $15.00 per box.
